Certified Farms

We as a company have respect and love for Indian values with a belief of self-sustenance, growth, family traditions and ancient Indian Sciences such as Ayurveda.

This has helped us step towards processing herbs and spices in the most authentic way.

Processing of Organic herbs and spices and certification by Indian certifying bodies has helped us understand and move up in adding value to our products.

Our farms are located in Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. They are exclusive farms for organic farming for Indian traditional herbs used in different Ayurvedic and cosmetic formulations

Certified Orchards

Our organic orchards are located up in the Himalayas about 9200 ft. above sea level. They are surrounded by Cedar and pine forests and do not have any roads. They can only be approached after a 2 km trek through the lush green mountains of Yamnotri district of Uttarakhand. The fruits are hand-picked, graded and packed at the farm and brought down on mules to the nearest town, from where they are transported to the buyer’s or our stores.

Certified Farmer Groups

We also have some farmer groups working in collaboration with us on contract farming, to grow and harvest organic herbs.

These farmers are trained by us and their farms certified for organic farming. They are regularly monitored and all their inputs are provided by us before cultivation.

Pre and Post-Harvest

The most critical process in any manufacturing lies in organisations ability to define clear guidelines for selection and handling of raw materials. As cultivators we take this responsibility seriously and from the very early stage, crop are taken care in every aspect of growth cycle. This results in healthy herbs, spices and presence of active constituents in them. Post-harvest is carried out with a dedicated team along with quality inspectors to maintain freshness and avoid contamination of any kind.

Handling and Cleaning of Herbs

Once the plants and plant parts are received from farm, they undergo cleaning with purified water to maintain organic standards and removal of any type of foreign partials of any form. Depending on the type of product (e.g. seed, flower, plant part, root) drying process is carried out – which may take from days to weeks based on required quantity. This process is carried in tunnel dryers to bypass any kind of contamination.
